- Men’s Reading Group: The next meeting will be 5/14, contact Contact Pastor Wes.
- Women’s Circle Bible Study: The study will resume on Tuesday 5/14, contact Laurel Cook.
- Small Group for Parents with Small Children: A small group for parents with small children will be starting May 17 at 7 PM and will meet twice a month at the Pittman home. Please see Sylvester Pittman if you have questions or an interest in being in this small group.
- Nursery: We are looking to collect opinions and feedback about nursery/cry rooms. If you're a parent of children 5y.o. or younger, and would like to provide comments, please email the church office at office@wpcbrandon.org, or contact Haylee or Sheryl.
- Meals on Wheels: Thanks to those who volunteered to drive and deliver meals. We have an ongoing need for volunteers for back-up drivers. Contact Mary Heydon for details.
- Evening Service: Every 1st and 3rd Sunday, at 6:00pm you can join us for our evening worship services. This is a smaller service, which includes a Hymn Sing, when we all choose our favorite hymns to sing together.
- Westminster APP: To download our Church App on your phone or tablet, go to Google Play or The Apple Store and search for “WPC Brandon” and it should pop up immediately. When you download the app, we’d like you to go to the top right corner (settings) and add your picture under “profile”. This will act as a picture directory for new members to recognize you.
- VBS: Join the Faith Expedition June 3-7! Look for volunteer registration forms in the Narthex, as well as registration forms for the children. Contact Dana Cook (813-431-4143) for more information.
- VBS Decoration Day: June 2 following the morning service. Lunch provided. we need all volunteers and anyone else willing to help to stay and transform the church into an expedition site for our VBS kids!
- Classical Christian School: We are having an Information Night at the church on May 9 at 7 PM. If you or someone you know has interest in the school, please plan on attending. Please keep our newest ministry in prayer. As the summer draws near, many tasks are needing to be completed before we can open up to Kindergarten students in the fall. Soon, our church family will be presented with different way that you can play a role in making our new Classical Christian School a success for our community and help us to glorify God in all we do!
- Classical School Ministry Luncheon: May 19 after the morning service. Hear updates, ways to be involved, and the formal introduction of Headmaster Jeremy Fuller.
- Graduation: We are getting near graduation time once again and we would like to recognize high school and college graduates in our church community. We will be recognizing the graduates during the service on Sunday, May 19, so if you have a high school or college student who is graduating, please let me know. Also send some information regarding highlights of your child's activity in high school or college and what they are planning to do next so that I can give a brief summary for each student on that Sunday. - Choir Rehearsal: The Wednesday night choir rehearsal is on recess for the summer and will resume in August.
